Accommodation

The wetlands provide several ways to experience a quiet and unique overnight experience. 

For  campers we have level spaces for tents, parks for station wagons and campers, and powered sites for campervans. Sites are first come, first served. 

Our Whare Tūao / Volunteer House is well equipped for those preferring a bit more space and a roof above! It has a bunk room with 5 bunks (10 beds), bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, lounge/TV room, and linen available to hire.

For an immersive wetland experience, our hut on Whakaraupuka (Ram Island) is newly renovated and available for hire. Please read the Hut Users Code prior to requesting a booking.
